The company has announced that its CADporter translation technology now supports Autodesk Inventor 6 file formats. The CADporter Autodesk Inventor 6 translation tools are said to support rapid, reliable and consistent 3D CAD data translation of parts and assemblics to and from CATIA, I-DEAS, SolidWorks and Pro/Engineer.
CADporter enables the translation of geometry from one CAD system to another with a successful conversion rate, according to the company. An improvement in the software is the ability of the platform to support surfaces.
